  23. There is a new ROM you need in your drive.  Dave Haynie said that he 
  24. thought he fixed the problem in 3.1 however.  Since I only have 3.0 in my 
  25. machine, we still don't know.  The new ROM is quite expensive, like about 
  26. $50+ if I remember right.  There is also IDE-Fix but it causes a lot of 
  27. problems on my machine, and it also costs $75+ shipping from germany.  
  28. WAY too much for buggy shareware, I'd like to know if 3.1 fixes the 
  29. problem, but am too lazy to try it. Perhaps someone could soft kick their 
  30. 4000 to 3.1 and see if it works???
